As a Content Management Practice Director, Deane manages the overall content management practice at Blend (what is a "content management practice"?). He scopes new projects, determines technical needs, and writes code. He also manages all of the .NET development at Blend.
Deane's passion and experience is in content management, ranging from simple open-source systems to large-scale commercial platforms. He programs primarily in .NET with experience in everything from PHP to Rails to ColdFusion.
Before partnering to start Blend, Deane was the Director of IT at Sioux Falls Commercial Real Estate, and also developed for BankFIRST and Citibank. Among numerous other high-profile projects, he was the lead developer for the redesign of the Minnesota Vikings Official Web Site. He has a B.A. in Government and International Affairs from Augustana College.
